I’m not a big football fan (baseball is my sport) so I was looking for an alternative to the Superbowl. I found it in ‘Ice Age’. I haven’t seen this flick in quite a while so it was really cool seeing it again. Great Pixar film. It seems to lack the polish that some of the other films like ‘Cars’ and ‘Finding Nemo’ have, but excellent movie anyway…
Phew! What a weekend! We got hammered where I live in Southern New Jersey with 2 feet of snow. We were finally able to dig out and drive around a bit today. On the plus side school is cancelled tomorrow which should help me catch up on some homework that I got behind on with my wife’s hospital stay and also a bit of slacking on my part, haha.
My son got me into watching ‘Tom and Jerry’ again. I used to love that show when I was a kid. I haven’t seen any of the episodes in quite a few years, so it’s kind of fun to see them again. Surprisingly they’re still pretty funny. 
One of the Encore channels surprisingly played ‘El Mariachi’ the other day. It was the first in the trilogy from Robert Rodriguez along with ‘Desperado’ and ‘Once Upon a Time In Mexico’. It was alright. Apparently ‘Desperado’ was the only one that I liked. I figured the ‘Once Upon a Time…’ would be good since it had Johnny Depp, but ehh. Oh, well, lol.
These are two of my favorite people in the world (my wife and son). Normally I try to keep my family to myself so to speak, but with my wife sick at the moment, it seems a perfect time to let someone that you know how much that you love them. I’m not trying to preach here – just saying life throws you curveballs that you’re not always expecting…
